North Richland Hills City is located in Tarrant County. It was recently selected by Money Magazine as one of the "Top 100 Best Places to Live in America". The city is decorated with sculptures and artwork due to the Art in Public Spaces Program that was started in 2002.

North Richland Hills was founded  in 1848 when W.S. Peters and 600 families agreed to move to the area for three years. It was a rural ranching and farming community for over a century. The city began to commercialize in 1952 when Clarence Jones divided his dairy farm into housing plots. 

Notable natives and residents include author Kamori Crews and actor Logan Henderson.
