Seatac City

SeaTac City, which was incorporated on February 28, 1990, is located in King County. It is part of the greater Seattle metropolitan area, with its boundaries completely surrounding the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

The area was first used by Native American tribes as they traveled between the saltwater shoreline and the mainland. Two canoes estimated to be about 300 years old were discovered in Angle Lake in 1989.

SeaTac is primarily residential and commercial and is home to 80 "Fortune 1000" companies, and over 900 businesses. The city generates over $3.7 billion annually.
