Orland Park Village is located in Cook County, but extends a bit into Will County. It is 19.4 square miles. The Cook County portion is residential, while the Will County portion of the city is industrial.
The city has hiking and biking trails, an aquatic center, wildlife refuges, an ice arena, and is home to Lake Sedgewick. It was given the honor of "45th Best Place to Live in America" by Money magazine. Notable natives include Northwestern University football coach Pat Fitzgerald, reality TV personality Bill Rancic, and actor Robin Tunney.
