Franklin Park Village is located in Cook County. The village has over 1,200 industries and businesses that cover 60% of the area. It is located near O'Hare Airport, railroad freight terminals, and major expressways, which makes it the perfect place for industry.

The first settlers were German farmers who arrived in the 1840's. By the turn of the century, most of the residents and workers were Polish, Italian, and Slavic immigrants. Franklin Park was incorporated in 1892. It is currently a diverse community with a large Latino population.
