Rosemont Village is located in Cook County. It is near O'Hare International Airport and is considered a major center for commercial activity. Rosemont has attracted numerous hotels and entertainment facilities. It is home to Waterfall Park, which features a river walk by the Des Plaines River, and the Allstate Arena.

A great number of residents in Rosemont are of Bulgarian descent. In 2000, it tied with the city of Bowdon, Georgia as the place in the United States with the highest population of Bulgarians. The community is 79% white, 35% Hispanic, 4% Asian, and 1% African American.
