Justice Village is located in Cook County, 14 miles from the Chicago Loop. It was incorporated in 1914. The village is situated along a former Indian trail, which is currently known as Archer Avenue. Early settlers in Justice were Irish and German canal workers. They were followed by Dutch settlers in the 20th century. The population is approximately 13,000 residents.
The village is bordered by two large cemeteries in the east, and several smaller ones in the west. Justice grew slowly until 1894, when the Bethania Cemetery was built. Taverns, restaurants, and picnic groves opened to accommodate cemetery visitors, which stimulated the village's economic growth.
We found resources in Justice to help you with your wedding planning, including wedding venues and florists. Szarotka serves hearty Polish food and is the perfect location for rehearsal dinners or wedding receptions. The restaurant has an upper level that can host up to 75 guests, while the downstairs banquet hall can hold up to 200. You can decorate with custom centerpieces and florals from Anna's Flowers.
