Elmhurst is a suburb located in Cook County, Illinois.  The earliest known settlers to the area were members of the Patawatomi Indian Tribe.

Elmhurst is home to the Sunshine Biscuits headquarters and the McMaster-Carr Supply Company and Famous Amos cookies are distributed from Elmhurst as well.
